Great Danes and Smart Cars

Published by healthandbeauty at 6:52 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

The other day, I saw a great dane riding around in a smart car, and I half expected him to turn to the window as I was sitting next to them in traffic and say what you looking at, yes I’m huge in this tiny tiny car. In fact, I half expected him to have a t shirt or shirt of some kind, a jacket, men’s ties stolen from some closet, shoes, the whole 9 yards. I mean he looked like a very big person sitting in that seat, and she did have sunglasses on him.
But what I was wondering, what in the world would possess you to get a smart car, which runs about $10,000 for a car you cannot actually drive over 40 mph or so, and have a great dane at the same time? I mean this great dane was very calm, to the point of looking like just a person sitting there. But what if he had been a spaz and been jumping around the car. That’s bad enough anyway, but worse when the dog is that huge. Second, what if they got in a wreck? She couldn’t really seatbelt this huge dog in. I mean size wise, perfect. But as far as the way he sits as a dog, no way.
It always weirds me out a little though when people make their dogs into little or big people. It’s even weirder when they’re big, because I have to do a double take like wait is that a man wearing men’s ties or a dog? With the little ones, you can always tell to some degree, except when they have those bassinet strollers. Then they have this little tiny dog tucked into a blanket and dressed up that they’re rolling along in this stroller. You automatically think oh a baby with really rich parents, because those strollers do not come cheap. But no. It’s some weird, sometimes obnoxious, sometimes really nice little dog. People are odd creatures, always trying to create children out of anything, whether that thing particularly wants to be a child or not.
