12-Year-Old Girl Has Liposuction
Mon Nov 6, 2006
Didn't so much watch with shock as confusion. "She's been doing this diet since she was three. She's old enough to know what she can and can't eat," Actually, she isn't because she's a child. A child who's now dolled up to look like a young adult.

A computer simulation does not a trial make. It would be interesting though to see this done in reality.
Nefertiti Was an Aging Beauty

Not sure how I feel about this story. The tone is such that all are shocked that there's beauty in ageing. I also worry about the bust under the new lighting.

Lindt 99% Dark is the only way I play. A French chocolatier, this ultra-dark bar is easy to find in Quebec, Canada. I went as far as to create a dark chocolate icing for my, err, dark chocolate brownies last week. I know, it was excessive.
Czech Chapel Adorned with 40, 000 Corpses

(Shudders...) The germs. The bugs. I can't believe there's even a word for it: ossuary. What, pray tell, is the biblical connection? Strange, indeed.
FDA Proposes Ban on Skin-Bleaching Cream
Tue Aug 29, 2006
This may be controversial but I think these cremes really should be prescribed (with the hope being that demand will decrease due to the added friction in obtaining the product).
Torstar to launch free electronic afternoon newspaper
Tue Aug 29, 2006
First thought: Yikes! How much would it cost to go around and pay for all the reproduction rights that would be required for a venture like this?! (add a couple more "?" and "!" in the order of your choice) Reading through the thread, it seems like the consensus is to have the hyperlinks to the exte …
Waistlines Continue to Grow in U.S.
Tue Aug 29, 2006
Agreed, Jerry. Mind you, I find that folks are too quick to talk and stare sometimes.
